In search of new defaults
Feb. 12th, 2010 10:42 pmSo I decided tonight that I do not like my default skins. Well, I don't DISLIKE them, but I am bored with them. And it bothers me that they look like they are wearing makeup and eyebags even when they are not. I like makeup and eyebags, but I like adding them myself! No wonder that when I build sims now I only ever give them a geneticized skin instead of a default one.
I guess my preferences are definitely running toward a matte/maxis-ish look, but I don't know what new I can introduce to my stable of geneticized skins, which includes Leh's skins, Selzi's Buffybot-Oepu blends, Fantasyrogue's Canvas skins, and Pooklet's freckled skins (these are the least matte skins I have in my game right now, but I love the all-over freckles!). I was thinking about using these Leh edits by Buffybot as my new defaults, but then I saw that Neena is working on some new skins, and I wondered if I should wait for her to finish with those. Also, I've never tried out her Lovesong skins. Gah, decisions, decisions. If anyone wants to help me make up my mind, I shan't stop you. :D
I'm also always on the search for a S4 default that is ACTUALLY DARK and doesn't look like pixelated crap on my computer. :/
