My sims game has a BUG, blah!

I've been playing my Cape Calamity families again, yay! I almost have enough pictures to post the next episode of the Boxcar sisters. :)

HOWEVER... I think I have some kind of jump bug. One that affects free will to some degree but doesn't seem to cause any gigantic problems - not yet, at least. Basically, my sims, especially Violet Boxcar, are being a lot more idle than usual, and sometimes it looks as if she's jumping ever so slightly, with her plumbbob flickering the moment it happens. Weird. From what I've read up on this it sounds like a CC problem. I haven't really downloaded much CC lately, just some clothes and hair, so hopefully I can, with relative ease, use testingcheats to create an error log and figure out what's causing the problems.

I get the feeling that a lot of people are switching over to Sims 3, based on the picture spam I've been seeing on my flist lately. I don't have a problem with that - I like seeing the pictures and Sims 3 looks like fun to me (I still don't think the sims are as cute, but I can at least admit that they have grown on me a bit). Sadly, I won't be able to play the Sims 3 anytime soon...not until I get a new computer. And who knows when that will happen? I just dropped a bunch of money on a new couch this weekend (which I needed), so a computer will probably come later rather than sooner. :/
