O EM GEE I am so behind. :| I'm trying to play the Strappings and get enough pics so I can update Cape Calamity before I post another Sputnik update (which I already have enough pics for). I realize it's ridic and it's not a race but I feel like everyone else is so far ahead of me in their NLC legacies. People are already playing with Generation three while my generation two just grew up from being toddlers. *cry* Wait up for meeeee, guise. I'm like the slow kid on the block.

In other news, my computer MIGHT be dying. MIGHT. There's a funny noise under the keyboard. My computer whiz boyf things the fan bearings need to be replaced, so I might have to do that in a week or so. Bummmmmer.

After this summer, though, I'm getting a new computer and it will play the Sims like the wind. Oh yes, yes it will. And I can't wait!

I think I'm a couple of sim days ahead of you. So don't feel bad. Of the 3 generation 2 kids, 2 are almost ready to age to teen and the last just aged to child.

I haven't really had much time to play in the last couple of weeks. I'm hoping to get in some extra playing time this weekend so I get to at least finish growing up generation 2 and get to the heir-picking stage.

Are Sim's life spans longer in Sims 3? Just curious, as it's yet another thing I am unaware of. :)

I myself have been out of town, grading lots of papers, etc. There's never enough time for me to dink around with games as I would like, really!

I'll have to double check the life stages, but I think both child and toddler last 6 days, infant lasts about 3 days and teen 13 or 14 days. Then they age to young adult (21 days) and then adult (again 21 days). I'm not sure how the elder stage works because since I've had the game I've mostly been mucking around with making sims and playing new families so I haven't had an elder in the game yet. When you make a sim in CAS, they get assigned some sort of random number of days to go in their life stage. In NLC3, my founder got 16 days as a young adult and the max he could get is 21. I've had sims start life out of CAS with 20 days to go or 18, etc. So in that respect it's not like Sims 2 where they get 28 days straight out of CAS no matter what.
